Emirates Redefines Long-haul Economy

Emirates is set to redefine long-haul economy travel with its ambitious plan to introduce a “game-changing” seat design focused on enhanced comfort. Spearheaded by President Sir Tim Clark, the airline is developing a prototype that prioritizes increased seat height to improve posture and leg support without compromising cabin space.

This innovative approach shifts the focus from traditional enhancements, such as seat width or pitch, to vertical ergonomics, aiming to alleviate discomfort on flights lasting 16 to 17 hours.
